Following the success of previous events, the 2025 Festival in the Clouds is taking place from April 28 to May 4 with many exciting programs.

As planned, the festival commences on the evening of April 28 in the center of Sapa Town, with a vibrant opening ceremony, followed by a showcase of performing arts. The subsequent days will feature a diverse range of traditional cultural and sporting events that celebrate the rich heritage of the hill tribes in Sapa. Highlights include a photography exhibition focusing on Sapa and its people, opportunities to sample traditional cuisine from the region, folklore and cultural rituals, the Hmong festival at Cat Cat Village, and the lively atmosphere of the Love Market.

A standout aspect of this year's festival is the special program ‘One-day Farmer in Sapa,’ where participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in local production activities. This includes foraging for forest medicinal plants, learning brocade weaving and embroidery techniques, as well as practicing traditional ethnic cooking methods.

Sapa, a mountainous town in Northern Vietnam, is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant cultural diversity. Acknowledging its potential, the Sapa Department of Culture, Sport, and Tourism has organized the Festival in the Clouds for several years to attract tourists from around the globe.
