Exciting Origami Airplane Workshop in Hanoi

The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, in collaboration with Japan Origami-Airplane Association is hosting a workshop on origami paper airplane at the former’s headquarter at 27 Quang Trung Street, Hanoi on 23 May.

The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, in collaboration with Japan Origami-Airplane Association is hosting a workshop on origami paper airplane at the former’s headquarter at 27 Quang Trung Street, Hanoi on 25 May.

The workshop will be hosted by Hitoshi Kimura, president of Japan Origami-Airplane Association. The workshop does not only feature airplane tutorial, but also tips to make airplanes fly higher and longer based on scientific knowledge. Hence, this workshop is not only for kids but also for teenagers and adults interested in the mathematics and practical application of origami.

Paper airplanes are among the most popular toy ever invented, while origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding which has evolved into a modern art form. Origami airplane, an ingenuous combination of origami and paper airplanes, has been a subject of interest to mathematicians who seek to make the highest and longest flying airplane.
