Da Lat flowers to boom again for annual festival
Da Lat 's fourth annual Flower Festival will take place from December 30, 2011 to January 3, 2012.
Romance-in-the-air Da Lat (or Dalat) continues to captivate visitors, offering much more than its beautiful scenery. The residents take immense pride in their floral paradise, which remains a highlight in the region.
This year, locals are gearing up for the much-anticipated 12th Annual Flower Festival, scheduled to take place from December 30, 2025, to January 3, 2026.
The primary objective of this year's festival is to attract a diverse range of both international and domestic tourists. Events will be held throughout Da Lat, with a focal point at the 1.2-hectare area by Xuan Huong Lake, affectionately known as the "Hill of Flowers." This venue showcases a variety of blooms representative of all four seasons, with the inclusion of numerous exotic floral species from around the world to help international visitors feel more connected to the local culture.
Officials have emphasized that the festival highlights the invaluable contributions of the city's talented florists, whose dedication has helped to establish Da Lat's reputation as a floral haven.
