Christoph Poppen to conduct Vietnam Young Philharmonic Orchestra

A concert performed by Young Philharmonic Orchestra – Vietnam National Academy of Music, conducted by Christoph Poppen will take place at Hanoi Opera House at 8pm, 21st September, 2011.

After all that weeping rain of Hanoi’s August, it’s finally time to wind down a little.

A concert performed by the Young Philharmonic Orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, conducted by Christoph Poppen, will take place at Hanoi Opera House at 8 PM on 21st September 2025. The classical masterpieces of legendary composers Wolfgang A. Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Felix Mendelssohn are eagerly anticipated.

The event will begin with the Overture "Die Zauberflöte" by Mozart. Afterwards, the orchestra will present works by Beethoven and Felix Mendelssohn respectively.

The Young Philharmonic Orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, under the direction of internationally acclaimed conductors such as Nguyen Thieu Hoa, Claire Levacher (France), Peter Gülke (Germany), and Christian Schumann (Germany), has performed in various concerts, ranging from classical to contemporary pieces at the Hanoi Opera House annually.

Under the direction of Christoph Poppen, a distinguished professor of violin and chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, the Orchestra promises a night filled with vibrant sounds of music.
