Beauty of Vietnam exhibited in the US 25 - 28 April
A photography exhibition of the magnificent beauty of Vietnam named “Charming Vietnam” is taking place at Vietnam Consulate General in Houston (Texas), from 25-28 April.
A photography exhibition of the magnificent beauty of Vietnam named “Charming Vietnam” is taking place at Vietnam Consulate General in Houston (Texas), from 25-28 April.
Photos presented at this exhibition are selected from a new picture book complied by Ministry of Foreign Affair of Vietnam and Vietnam Consulate General in Houston, taken by two talented photographers Nguyen Viet Thanh and Hoang Hai Thinh. The majority of these photography works is colorful pictures of charming Vietnam with various unique and poetic sceneries, the rest is about daily life activities of Vietnamese.
Besides the purpose to promote spectacular images of Vietnam to global travelers, this exhibition, as well as the new photo book, are also considered a present to overseas Vietnamese and American who have contributed significantly in enhancing the relationship between Vietnam and the US.
Photographers Nguyen Viet Thanh and Hoang Hai Thinh are not strange names in photographic community in Vietnam. Nguyen Viet Thanh is considered one of the best photographic journalists in Vietnam with various outstanding photos in different aspects, whereas Hoang Hai Thinh is a passionate photographer in Vietnam’s beauty who won numerous national and international prizes of photography.
