Can Tho Airport is a new modern civil airbase that was opened at the beginning of 2011.
Location
Can Tho International Airport, formerly known as Tra Noc Airport, is located in Binh Thuy District, serving as a major hub for Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region. The airport features two floors: the ground floor is designated for arrivals, while the first floor handles departures. With recent expansions, Can Tho International Airport now has the capacity to accommodate 5-7 million passengers annually.
The domestic terminal offers flights to prominent destinations including Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hai Phong, serviced by major airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, and Bamboo Airways. The international terminal provides connections to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur via AirAsia, as well as flights to Taipei and Seoul operated by VietJet Air.
Can Tho Airport's layout includes two primary areas: the right section near the main entrance is dedicated to domestic departures and arrivals, while the left section is reserved for international flights.
