Best time to visit

Other than the short stormy period from September to October, the weather is pleasant and visitors will be embraced by sunshine and fresh windy air from the sea most of the time.

It is recommended to travel to Mui Ne in the dry season to enjoy at your fullest, when the sun is not burning and there’s no rain to interrupt your daytime exploration in the sand dunes, local villages or other historical monuments.

If you’re fanatics of sea adventures, do not miss the surfing season in April and May. Despite the heat, the sky is crystal clear, providing an optimal vision, with undulant waves and wind that create the best condition for water sports such as kite-surfing, sailing, and snorkeling. However, if you want to escape the cold on winter days, Mui Ne is still a marvelous getaway. Compared to other regions in Vietnam, Mui Ne’s weather just smoothly changes. Even during the coolest period, November to January, sunlight remains warm and cozy, which is favourable for a discovery around the desert wilderness.
