Dinh Bang Village Temple (Dinh Bang)
Dinh Bang village is best known to be the birthplace of Ly Cong Uan- the Great King who first chose Hanoi as the capital in 1010.
As of 2025, Dinh Bang village continues to preserve its charming countryside ambiance, showcasing relics from the Ly dynasty. The village temple holds a central place both physically and spiritually in the community's life. Its architecture exemplifies the traditional style of Northern Vietnam pagodas, utilizing Lim wood as the primary building material, without the addition of vibrant colors. The temple is dedicated to the Gods of Land, Water, and Agriculture. It serves as a sacred space for villagers to pay their respects to these deities and to pray for a bountiful harvest.
