Tuesdays and Thursdays see departures at 10:15 (SIN), while the weekend schedule includes flights at 18:30 on Fridays, 11:00 on Saturdays, and 9:30 on Sundays. Baggage Allowance
Cabin baggage:
All passengers on Tiger Air flights are permitted to bring one small piece of cabin luggage not exceeding 7kg. The total dimensions (length, width, and height) must not surpass 115cm. In addition to the main piece of luggage, passengers are allowed to carry one small personal item such as a laptop bag at no added cost, but they assume responsibility for any damage to these items.
Checked luggage:
For luggage exceeding the 7kg limit, it must be checked in. Check-in for excess baggage is available beginning 2 hours prior to flight departure. It is advisable not to include fragile or high-value items in checked baggage. Fees for checked baggage vary based on when the luggage is checked in. Booking additional luggage in advance—before arriving at the airport—can result in lower fees, starting at 20 USD for 15kg, 25 USD for 20kg, and up to 40 USD for 25kg. At the airport counter, higher rates apply, with charges of 40 USD for 15 kg and an additional 25 USD for each kil0gram over that limit.
Onboard Service
As a low-cost carrier, Tiger Air's onboard offerings are limited. Currently, the airline only provides Economy class with basic services. While there is minimal in-flight entertainment, passengers can find a magazine titled Tiger Tales available for free. Food and beverages are available for purchase, consisting primarily of packaged snacks and simple meals like noodles, sandwiches, and burgers. These purchases are not included in the ticket price.

Safety Records
Passengers often express concerns regarding the safety of Tiger Air due to its low-cost operating model. However, the airline has maintained a solid safety record with no fatal accidents to date. The fleet primarily consists of Airbus A320s, which are designed for efficiency. Despite the rigorous schedule imposed on the aircraft, Tiger Air works diligently to adhere to safety standards, maintaining operational reliability for its travelers.
