Lý Club Hanoi
You want to try Vietnamese traditional food but you are wondering which restaurant to choose? Ly Club is one of the restaurant in Hanoi that offers Vietnamese food
Overview
Located in the heart of Hanoi, Ly Club is housed in a beautifully restored colonial villa dating back to the 19th century, contemporaneous with the famous Long Bien Bridge. The restaurant is just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, the Hanoi Opera House, the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, and the Hilton Hanoi Opera.
The design and name of Ly Club are inspired by the legend of the Soaring Dragon, which recounts the tale of King Ly Cong Uan moving his capital to Thang Long – present-day Hanoi. Consequently, all the antiques and decor within the restaurant are artifacts from the Ly Dynasty. The three-story establishment features Ly Lounge – a Cigar & Cocktail Bar on the ground floor; Ly Dining on the first floor; and Ly Theatre on the third floor, where guests can enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine alongside live cultural performances, held daily from 19:30 to 21:30.
Ly Club's culinary offerings are an exquisite blend of French and Vietnamese cuisines, showcasing dishes such as Scallops with apple and pear, Pear wrapped in thinly sliced and grilled beef tenderloin, and Salmon baked in banana leaves with a passion fruit sauce. Additionally, Ly Club boasts a wine cellar of over 200 brands, offering appetizers and wines imported from countries including Chile, France, Australia, Italy, and Spain.
A set lunch is priced at approximately $12, while the upscale À La Carte menu ranges from $25 to $45.
