World trip by electric car hellos Vietnam

In July 2025, the world tour promoting electric vehicles (EVs), led by two innovative French engineers, Antonin Guy and Xavier Degon, made a notable stop in Vietnam.

 

At a press conference held on July 6, the dynamic duo shared that their journey aims to advocate for electric cars as environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional vehicles. They emphasized their commitment to demonstrating that EVs can be just as safe and efficient as conventional cars. Throughout their travels, they have enjoyed connecting with like-minded individuals at charging stations across the countries they have visited, which adds a layer of personal fulfillment to their mission.

 

Following their stay in Vietnam, Guy and Degon are set to continue their adventure through Asia, with China as their next destination beginning July 8.

 

Guy and Degon embarked on their electric vehicle journey on February 11, 2022, from Strasbourg, France. Their ambitious goal is to travel approximately 25,000 kilometers across 17 countries while spending just around USD 310 on electricity for their entire trip. Prior to arriving in Vietnam, they successfully traveled over 15,000 kilometers, with Laos as their most recent stop.
