World Belly Dance to be celebrated in Hanoi
On Saturday 12 May 2012, Aspara Dance Studior, holds a belly dance (accordingly to the second World Belly Dance taking place at 101 cities all over the world), at Pico Mall, No. 229 Tay Son Street, Hanoi from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Aspara Dance Studio will host a belly dance event in conjunction with the annual World Belly Dance celebration taking place in over 100 cities worldwide, at Pico Plaza, No. 229 Tay Son Street, Hanoi from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
The event promises to be a spectacular showcase of dance, exquisite costumes, and captivating music. Following the success of previous years, this year's organizer will include kid-friendly dance programs such as Zumba, Hip-hop, and Jazz. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn belly dancing techniques from experts and purchase accessories for this vibrant art form. Funds raised during the event will be donated to the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, a well-established non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged children in Vietnam.
World Belly Dance is an initiative by Shimmy Mob, a collective of belly dance enthusiasts working to elevate belly dance as an esteemed art form and to showcase it to the general public. Aspara Dance Studio remains a prominent figure in the belly dance community in Hanoi, continuing to earn recognition for its contributions and successful events.
