According to reports from the management committee of tourist areas in Vung Tau City, in the first 6 months of 2025, resorts and beaches of the city welcomed 1.87 million tourists, marking an increase of 10% compared to the same period last year.
During this time, the security team of Vung Tau's management committee has successfully rescued 920 swimmers who were struggling in rip currents, handled 210 cases of lost life buoys, located 60 lost children and reunited them with their families, and transported 25 severely injured victims to hospitals swiftly.
Additionally, the committee has collaborated with various agencies, local authorities, and organizations to conduct regular inspections to ensure security and cleanliness, while maintaining stable prices through prompt actions. Thanks to these efforts, Vung Tau continues to be recognized as a safe and clean tourist destination in Vietnam.
