Vietnam weather

Hanoi
It is getting warmer in Hanoi in the last days of 2011, with the temperature fluctuating around 18 degree Celsius, which is 5 degrees Celsius higher than the previous week on average. Though the humidity increases by 15% compared to that of the previous week and reaches 77%, it is still rather dry, and moisture cream remains good companion these days. Remember to put on a scarf and a light coat when going out for firework watching on the New Year Eve, when temperature may drop to 14 degree Celsius.

Da Nang
Unlike Hanoi, Da Nang welcomes the New Year in a kind of rainy and wet weather with three consecutive rainy days and extremely high humidity of 100%. Tourists planning to travel to Da Nang should consider culinary tours rather than wandering along the seaside. Umbrella and raincoat are good friends in this weekend, for sure.

Ho Chi Minh City
In contrast to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City is expecting better weather at this weekend. While heavy cloud, rain and thunder make Friday not a good time for outdoor activities, sunshine makes Saturday and Sunday wonderful time to go out and celebrate the New Year on the streets. While temperature ranging from 22 to 32 degree Celsius is quite ideal, low humidity of 58% is relative unpleasant and makes moisture cream become indispensable these days.
