Next month, the Vietnamese diva My Linh will be kicking off a live tour across Vietnam to celebrate 20 years of her music career. This is the second time this diva has organized her own live show, since the successful “My Linh Tour ’06” in 2006.
According to My Linh, the nationwide tour is a perfect chance for her to spread out the message that music can connect love inside people, and give them endless inspiration in life.
The tour is projected to last for two months, starting by first live show at Hanoi’s Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi) on April 11th and 12th, 2012. After that, the diva performs at two live shows in other major cities of Vietnam, including Da Nang on May 25th, and Ho Chi Minh City on May 12th.
Im Tae Kyung, the “Michael Bubble of South Korea” will appear as a special guest and perform with My Linh in the first show in Hanoi.
Becoming famous after the victory in the national singing contest for students in 1991, My Linh has been recognized as one of four divas of Vietnamese modern pop music (together with Thanh Lam, Hong Nhung and Tran Thu Ha). Pop merged with some R&B and funk sound make up the 37-year-old diva’s music style and the beautiful voice enable her to conquer the heart of many local music lovers at all ages.
