This weekend, Hanoi will experience variable clouds and scattered thunderstorms. Temperature will range from 30-35 Degree Celsius, with chance of rain up to 60%. Despite the gloomy weather, make sure to have a blast at European Literature Days, which is highlighted by the launch of the wickedly funny book “Mr Gum and the Cherry Tree”. If you are after serenity, look no further than the well-received exhibition “Speech of Wall” by Lolo Zazar which recreates Vietnamese-style wall advertisements.

Danang

Like Hanoi, the central city of Danang will also see partly cloudy skies with a chance of thunderstorm and rain in the afternoon. Fog is probable overnight while chance of rain ranges from 40% to 60%. The best thing to do in this rainy weather is to visit Cham Museum, which boasts a splendid collection of Cham art and sculpture. Alternatively the local Cao Dai temple is also worth a quick visit due to its interesting interior decorated with typical Cao Dai ornamentation.

Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City will also experience mostly cloudy skies with thunderstorms in the evening and fog overnight. Chance of precipitation is around 80%, since it is rainy weather. Luckily this metropolitan is never lacking in activities. Highlight is the debut of the critically acclaimed project “Riverscapes in Flux”, which recreates big river landscapes in Southeast Asia in an impressive way. Another worthy place is the abstract painting exhibition “Rainbow” by artist Nguyen Trong Tuong, which will also open on Saturday.
