The weather in Hanoi is quite pleasant as it should be for Tet, with a gray sky, occasional light rain, and a slight chill in the air. The mist blurs the line between the sky and the water surface of Westlake, creating breathtaking views for tourists.

This weekend will be cool, with average temperatures around 20°C on Friday and Saturday, and slightly warmer at around 23°C on Sunday. However, visitors should dress warmly on Tet Eve (Sunday night), as temperatures are expected to drop to about 13°C. Da Nang

 

In contrast to Hanoi, the coastal city of Da Nang is enjoying the last few days of the Cat year with warm and sunny weather, transitioning into light rain as they welcome the New Year. Temperatures are expected to remain stable over the three days, fluctuating between 20°C and 27°C. The warm, dry weather allows both locals and visitors ample opportunity for shopping and Tet preparations. Light rain on the first day of the Year of the Dragon (Monday) will add a poetic touch to the visits to pagodas at the start of the Lunar New Year.

Ho Chi Minh City

 

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City is experiencing hot and dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 35°C, coupled with a low humidity of around 55%. The city is vibrant with sunshine and the bright colors of blooming apricot flowers, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Unfortunately, Tet Eve is expected to bring some rain; hence, visitors should carry umbrellas and wear raincoats during their celebrations. Like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City will greet the New Year with sunny weather, but travelers are advised to use moisturizers and wear hats or carry umbrellas to shield themselves from the heat during the hot and dry weather on Monday.
