Vietnam Airlines launched non-stop flights to London

 

Vietnam Airlines, according to the latest official announcement, operates seven flights per week from both cities in Vietnam to London (Gatwick Airport). Flights depart on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. All flights are conducted on Boeing 787 Dreamliners, with a seating capacity of 280 passengers, and each journey lasts approximately 11 hours, significantly reducing previous transit times.

 

Additionally, travelers from Vietnam can take advantage of a promotional fare of VND 22,500,000 (approximately US$950) for each round-trip ticket purchased until April 30, 2025, valid for travel from March 30 to August 31, 2025.

According to recent data from the Telegraph, over 120,000 English tourists visited Vietnam in 2024, and this figure is anticipated to rise further with the continuation of direct flights offered by Vietnam Airlines. Natalie Lewis, from Audley Travel, a UK travel agency specializing in Southeast Asia travel for over 15 years, stated: “This launch provides a much more convenient and time-saving option for Western travelers eager to explore Southeast Asia.”

 

This launch represents the eighth non-stop route connecting Vietnam to four European countries including the UK, France, Germany, and Russia. It escalates Vietnam Airlines' non-stop flights to Europe to a total of 32 per week and expands its network to 52 routes. In addition, Vietnam Airlines is now offering 7 daily flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to London in 2025.
