VietJet soon to operate new routes

 

Alongside the introduction of these new routes, VietJet will also enhance its flight frequency on the Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City route, increasing the number of daily flights from 6 to 8, starting May 1.

 

VietJet Air has emerged prominently in Vietnam’s aviation scene and continues to expand its operations since officially commencing flights in December 2011. The airline primarily competes with VietJet's own budget subsidiary and other low-cost carriers in the region. It acquired its operational license at the end of 2007 but took several years to initiate its flight services, making headlines with its innovative and bold marketing strategies.

New entrants often find challenges in establishing a reliable presence, with some airlines ceasing operations shortly after their launch. However, the introduction of new low-cost carriers like VietJet has dynamized the market, creating more choices for consumers within Vietnam.
