USD1.3 million to light up Danang International Firework Contest this April

 

This year's contest will revolve around the main theme of “Da Nang’s Colors,” featuring participation from four international teams: Vietnam, Canada (the 2008 champion), China (the 2009 champion), and France (the 2010 champion). As usual, the picturesque Han River will host the event.

 

Alongside the primary firework displays, numerous additional events are planned to enrich the festive atmosphere for visitors. These include street performances, a culinary exchange festival, a fashion show, and vibrant flower-boat parades.

 

For the first time, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular firework displays from tourism boats, with tickets priced at a maximum of VND 300,000.

 

In addition to government support, DIFC 2025 is backed by around 24 companies from across Vietnam, with a total sponsorship amount of VND 28 billion (approximately USD 1.2 million), including VND 20 billion in cash along with various in-kind contributions such as hotel accommodations and flight tickets.

Da Nang International Firework Contest is an annual event that serves as a platform for firework teams from around the globe to converge, share experiences, and showcase breathtaking firework displays to enthusiasts. Last year, the competition attracted five teams, with Parente from Italy emerging as the winner with their stunning performance titled “Life of the River.”
