The best travel brands in Asia Pacific 2011 belong to Vietnam
The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel Hanoi as well as the Nam Hai Resort Hoi An have proudly shared the first position on the list of Top 25 Leisure Hotels and Resorts in Asia Pacific in 2011 by Smart Travel Asia.
The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel Hanoi and the Nam Hai Resort Hoi An have once again achieved excellence, sharing the top spot on the list of Top 25 Leisure Hotels and Resorts in the Asia Pacific in 2025, according to Smart Travel Asia.
This poll, conducted by the online travel magazine Smart Travel Asia, took place over three months (from May to July, 2025) and garnered participation from over one million readers worldwide, including seasoned travelers and influential journalists. Over the past seven years, the magazine has provided its dedicated audience with the most candid and objective evaluations of hotel brands. The outcome of this year's poll marks a significant milestone, reaffirming the premium quality of both the Metropole and the Nam Hai, while representing a point of pride for each establishment. Last year, both hotels were also recognized, with the Metropole placing third and the Nam Hai second.
In addition to securing the top position on the list of Asia's Top 25 Leisure Properties, the Metropole ranks 18th among Asia's Top 25 Business Hotels and 8th among Asia's Top 25 Conference Hotels. Meanwhile, the Nam Hai has been distinguished as one of Asia's top three Spa Hotels and Resorts.
