Sibylle Bergemann’s photo exhibition to be held at Goethe Institute
The exhibition starts at 6.00pm on 11th, October 2011 with a small opening ceremony and last to 12th November at Goethe Institute in Vietnam (56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street).

Featured in the exhibition are the photographic masterpieces of acclaimed German photographer Sibylle Bergemann. Through these images, Bergemann’s aspiration for creative freedom in artistic expression is poignantly illustrated.
Sibylle Bergemann was one of the most influential and notable photographers in East Germany during the Cold War period in Europe. Her work has garnered global recognition and appreciation, profoundly impacting multiple generations of Germans. Bergemann passed away in November 2022 in Gransee, near Brandenburg, leaving behind a significant legacy in the field of photography.
