As announced by Quang Binh authorities, the month dedicated to cave tourism is set to take place in June 2025. This event is part of the province’s initiatives to promote its tourism sector and align with the National Tourism Year 2025 theme.
This occasion aims to enhance the image of the tourism industry in Quang Binh Province and across Vietnam, with a particular focus on cave tourism. Additionally, the event seeks to attract investments for the region's development and to improve the living conditions of local residents.
During this month-long event, a variety of activities centered around cave exploration will be organized, showcasing the breathtaking natural caves of Quang Binh. Activities will include tours of significant sites within the world heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, featuring attractions like En Cave, Sinh Ton Valley, and Rao Thuong. There will also be a traditional boat race on the Nhat Le River and a photographic exhibition highlighting the stunning natural landscapes of Quang Binh.
Quang Binh Province is well known for its numerous natural attractions, including the UNESCO World Heritage site Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Dong Hoi, and Nhat Le beaches. In recent years, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park has attracted approximately 300,000 visitors annually, with tourism revenue reaching over VND 500 billion as of 2023.
