Picture book on General Vo Nguyen Giap exhibited

A new picture book titled General Vo Nguyen Giap: A Century – Two Resistance Wars is currently being showcased at the Gallery No. 45 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.

This book, featuring 130 pages and nearly 300 images of General Vo Nguyen Giap, has been published by Kim Dong Publishing House. It celebrates the 110th anniversary of his birth (1911-2021) and offers a comprehensive look at his life and career. The images were meticulously collected from a variety of sources and are arranged chronologically to highlight Giap's significant contributions to the Communist Party and the nation's revolutionary history. Notably, many of the photographs included in the book are being shared with the public for the very first time.

The exhibition, along with the publication, provides a captivating insight into the life of one of Vietnam's most prominent military leaders and sheds light on the two heroic resistance wars during the 20th century.
