“Panorama of Vietnam” photo exhibition on display in Nha Trang
18 photos about Vietnam taken by French photographer Thiery Beyne are being put on display in the photo exhibition “Panorama of Vietnam”, at Novotel Hotel in Nha Trang City, lasting to October 31th, 2011.
Eighteen captivating photographs of Vietnam, captured by French photographer Thiery Beyne, are on display at the exhibition titled “Panorama of Vietnam” at the Novotel Hotel in Nha Trang City. The exhibition runs until December 31, 2025.
This collection features eleven sequential images and seven standalone pieces taken by Beyne since 1997. As the title suggests, the exhibition aims to provide an insightful overview of local daily life, traditions, and the significant changes in Vietnam over the past two decades, all conveyed through vivid imagery.
Photographer Beyne is affiliated with a French non-governmental organization based in Nha Trang called AVEED AMIS DU VIETNAM ENFANCE EN DANGER (AVEED), which focuses on supporting underprivileged children. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of photographs in this exhibition will be donated to AVEED to aid children in Khanh Hoa province.
A graduate of Paris College of Art in 1978, Beyne first visited Vietnam in 1997 and has since traveled to the country regularly. His frequent trips have deepened his understanding of Vietnam's rich cultural landscape, its people, and their ways of life. As a freelance photographer, he has held 12 exhibitions in Paris showcasing life in Asia, with a particular emphasis on Vietnam.
