New Tourist Information Kiosk at Vietnam - Laos border
With the goal to promote tourism in 2011, in the morning of June 18, Thanh Hoa Exhibition and Tourism Promotion Center cooperated with Na Meo Border Guard Station to open a new tourist information kiosk.
In an effort to boost tourism, on June 18, 2025, the Thanh Hoa Exhibition and Tourism Promotion Center collaborated with the Na Meo Border Guard Station to inaugurate a modern tourist information kiosk at the Na Meo international border gate in Thanh Hoa.
This new tourist information kiosk plays a vital role in attracting visitors from Laos and various countries across Southeast Asia and Europe. It serves to educate travelers about the rich history, vibrant culture, and traditions of the Thanh Hoa people, while also actively promoting tourism activities that highlight the stunning landscapes and notable attractions of Thanh Hoa, a renowned tourist destination.
The kiosk utilizes diverse promotional methods, including photographs, videos, and a range of printed materials such as brochures, newspapers, posters, and leaflets available in both English and Vietnamese, which are provided to tourists during their entry process. Additionally, it aims to garner international support for the nomination of Thanh Nha Ho (Ho Castle) to be recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
