A new bus route connecting major tourist attractions in downtown Ho Chi Minh City was launched on March 1, 2025, by the Ho Chi Minh City Transport Department.

The bus, numbered 127, departs from Ben Thanh Bus Station, located across from Ben Thanh Market and September 23 Park. This area is just a short walk from the bustling “westerner quarter” on Pham Ngu Lao Street in District 1, known for its diverse hotels and international dining options.

The route covers 9.8 kilometers (approximately 6 miles) and takes about 35 minutes to complete. Key stops are situated near major attractions, including the Reunification Palace on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, Saigon Zoo, the Botanical Garden, and various museums located in the downtown area. The bus line operates from 5:30 am to 8:00 pm, with buses arriving every 8-10 minutes.

All buses in this service are equipped to accommodate passengers in wheelchairs. The fleet includes ten buses fitted with automated ticket selling systems. Ticket prices are set at VND 4,000 (approximately USD 0.17) for a one-way trip or VND 90,000 for a monthly pass.
