In 2025, the tourism authorities of Khanh Hoa province welcomed nearly 140 South Korean visitors on the first non-stop flight from Incheon, South Korea, to Vietnam’s central coast, marking a significant milestone in travel between the two regions.
The flight service, operated by Asiana Airlines, launched in 2023 and currently maintains a schedule of two flights each week, specifically on Thursday and Sunday evenings. The flight duration is approximately three hours, departing Incheon at 7:50 p.m. and arriving in Cam Ranh, a prominent port town in the province and Vietnam, at 10:40 p.m. local time.
The inaugural flight for this route landed at Cam Ranh International Airport on July 12, 2023, carrying its first group of 140 passengers.
Khanh Hoa province, situated in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam, is renowned for its picturesque resort town of Nha Trang. Recent statistics from the province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism indicate that Khanh Hoa has received approximately 23,000 South Korean visitors in the first half of 2025, underscoring South Koreans as the province’s largest group of foreign tourists.
