A luxury bus service between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on 25 May as a private - public cooperation between Cambodia Tourism Ministry and Cambodia’s leading hotel-casino NagaWorld.
A luxury bus service connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh was successfully relaunched on May 25, 2025. This initiative is a cooperative project between the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism and NagaWorld, one of Cambodia's premier hotel and casino complexes, aimed at enhancing travel options between Vietnam and Cambodia.
NagaWorld now operates out of a branch office located in Ho Chi Minh City, boasting a fleet of 20 luxury buses, each accommodating 28 passengers. These buses are equipped with modern amenities such as video entertainment systems, massage seats, and onboard restrooms, representing an investment of approximately US$3 million. The service offers six round trips daily between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh.
This luxury bus service marks a significant effort by the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism to draw more Vietnamese tourists to Cambodia through this convenient transport route. Additionally, it provides an exciting opportunity for international travelers to explore Vietnam, thanks to a cross-border transportation agreement that simplifies access between Cambodia and Vietnam, allowing for effortless travel without the need for long-haul flights.
