National cocktail competition seeks remarkable bartenders in Vietnam
The largest competition for bartenders in Vietnam, the National Cocktail Competition, has just commenced on 4th November 2011 in Hanoi. Following these initial rounds in Hanoi are numerous qualified rounds in Da Nang on November 11 and in Ho Chi Minh City on November 15, to select the most skilled bartenders to compete in the final round in Ho Chi Minh City on November 16.

The competition is organized to be a sane ground for bartenders and bar managers all over Vietnam to exchange experience and show their talent, as well as detect talent to represent Vietnam at the World Cocktail Competition on February 2012 in Puerto Rico.
The winner of this competition is awarded a 3-days training course on cocktail mixing in London, England under the instruction of various cocktail experts in many countries, especially “the Legend of Cocktail” David Cordoba.
This annual competition in cocktail is held by Bacardi Vietnam LMT cooperating with Saigon Bartender Sommelier’s Guild Association with the sponsorship of Ho Chi Minh City Association. In order to compete in this contest, candidates must be older than 20 years old and possess at least 2 years in cocktail preparation and bar management in bar restaurants, hotels, night club and resort all over Vietnam.
