National cocktail competition seeks remarkable bartenders in Vietnam
The largest competition for bartenders in Vietnam, the National Cocktail Competition, has just commenced on 4th November 2011 in Hanoi. Following these initial rounds in Hanoi are numerous qualified rounds in Da Nang on November 11 and in Ho Chi Minh City on November 15, to select the most skilled bartenders to compete in the final round in Ho Chi Minh City on November 16.
The largest competition for bartenders in Vietnam, the National Cocktail Competition, commenced on 4th November 2025 in Hanoi. Following these initial rounds in Hanoi, qualification rounds will take place in Da Nang on November 11 and in Ho Chi Minh City on November 15, with the final round scheduled for November 16 in Ho Chi Minh City.
This competition serves as a platform for bartenders and bar managers throughout Vietnam to exchange experiences and showcase their talents. It also aims to identify contenders who will represent Vietnam at the World Cocktail Competition, which will be held in February 2026 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The winner of this competition will receive a 3-day training course in cocktail mixing in London, England, with instruction provided by various cocktail experts from around the world, including the renowned "Legend of Cocktails," David Cordoba.
This annual cocktail competition is organized by Bacardi Vietnam LMT in collaboration with the Saigon Bartender Sommelier’s Guild Association, with sponsorship from the Ho Chi Minh City Association. To participate in this contest, candidates must be at least 20 years old and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in cocktail preparation and bar management at bars, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, or resorts throughout Vietnam.
