On the occasion of its 115th anniversary, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi has unveiled a stunning rooftop garden café lounge and has completed a comprehensive redesign of its iconic Bamboo Bar.
Spanning 300m2, the open-air rooftop lounge Le Balcon provides guests with a tranquil atmosphere, enhancing the hotel’s offerings with an ideal setting for morning Pilates and yoga classes. This new venue is perfect for intimate dinners, private events, weddings, and fashion shows, adding to the hotel’s reputation as a premier location for social gatherings.
The revamped Bamboo Bar, which reopened in early 2025, features 20 additional seating options and an expanded drink menu. The enhancements are aimed at providing an exceptional experience for visitors, elevating the bar’s status as a desirable spot for relaxation and socialization.
Established in 1901, the Metropole Hanoi is the first Sofitel Legend property and is recognized as the first five-star hotel in Hanoi. This historic hotel has hosted millions of guests, including esteemed figures such as Graham Greene, Somerset Maugham, and Charlie Chaplin, continuing its legacy of luxury and hospitality.
