L’Espace to again listen to Le Cat Trong Ly arguing for her case
Renowned singer Le Cat Trong Ly, whose talent is revered among a niche of Vietnamese youth, is coming back to Hanoi with the hope of again selling out her show.
Renowned singer Le Cat Trong Ly, whose talent is celebrated among a niche of Vietnamese youth, is returning to Hanoi with hopes of once again selling out her show.
L’Espace has invited the singer back for another round of performances following her two overwhelmingly successful shows last year. This time, Ly Le and her new band will engage with a hopefully packed audience for three consecutive nights, from October 15th to 17th, 2025, at the same venue, 24 Trang Tien, which brought her acclaim in 2010.
Ly, whose trademark image of singing while playing rhythm guitar has become one of the most recognizable in Vietnam’s showbiz today, has been dubbed “the people’s new sensation.” Her unique, laid-back, soulful voice, combined with lively yet charismatic lyrics and her girl-next-door appearance, has earned her praise from both critics and young listeners alike. She writes her own songs and draws inspiration from French colonial music prior to 1940, which resonates with older generations as well.
To experience this unconventional sensation of Vietnam, head to L’Espace Hanoi at 24 Trang Tien after October 10th, 2025. Tickets are priced at 500,000 VND, with a discounted rate of 300,000 VND available for students.
