July Spotlight Events in Ho Chi Minh City
In July, there are lots of activities and events happening in and around Ho Chi Minh City. There are four major conferences and exhibitions.
In July 2025, visitors will find a variety of engaging activities and events in and around Ho Chi Minh City. Several major conferences and exhibitions are scheduled to welcome attendees to the city during this warm month.
Expo and Conference:
July 01 - 05: VietBuild 2025 exhibition at Phu Tho Sporting Hall (01 Lu Gia Street, Ward 15, District 11).
July 07 - 10: The 8th Vietnam International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools, and Metalworking Exhibition & Conference at SECC, 799 Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard, Tan Phong Ward, District 7.
July 15 - 18: The “Consumer Digital World Expo”, which is the largest international ICT Conference and Expo in Vietnam, will also take place at the same venue.
July 21 - 23: The Shoes and Leather Vietnam Conference at SECC.
Entertainment:
For entertainment, weekend evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:10 p.m. feature the “Xin Chao” Show. This event combines traditional dances, martial arts, and music that illustrate Vietnamese culture and history, hosted at 23/9 Park, Pham Ngu Lao Street, District 1. The ticket prices are $15 for adults, $7.50 for children aged 6 to 10 years, and free admission for kids under 6. For more information, you can visit the Xin Chao website.
Additionally, an exhibition showcasing over 400 antiques from the Tay Son Dynasty (18th century) will be on display until October 31, 2025, at the Vietnam History Museum, located at 02 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.
Live music performances continue to take place from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at various coffee shops, bars, and pubs in the Dong Khoi area. It is advisable to make reservations in advance, especially for weekends.
