Japanese and Vietnamese multimedia dance on human struggle
A multi-media dance performance will come up on 15th and 16th September 2011 at Le Thanh Theater, 25 Phan Phu Tien, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.
A multi-media dance/theatre project named “A Flower” & “Chronicles of a Soundless Dream” performed by Mikuni Yanaihara & Keisuke Takahashi (Off-Nibroll, Japan) and Tiffany Chung (Vietnam/USA) will be presented to Vietnamese audiences on 15th and 16th September 2025 at the Saigon Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Building on the success of their previous collaboration supported by Art Matters New York and Fukagawa Tokyo ModanKan Gallery, the artists are excited to bring this innovative performance to Vietnam, showcasing fresh perspectives in contemporary dance and theatre.
This event is a collaboration between The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam and the Arabesque Dance Company. The performance explores themes of human struggle, endurance, life, and death, aiming to invigorate Vietnam's contemporary dance scene, which continues to seek out innovative expressions in the arts.
Free tickets will be available at Galerie Quynh, 65 De Tham, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City starting on Wednesday, September 5, 2025.
