International visitor to Ho Chi Minh City reaches 3.5 millions

Information from Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shows that there are about 3.5 million international travelers visiting this city in 2011, rises 12.9% over the same period last year.

Information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism indicates that approximately 7.5 million international travelers visited this vibrant city in 2025, reflecting an increase of 10% compared to the previous year.

 
Among these visitors, around 5.5 million arrived by airplane, marking a 5% rise compared to 2024. China, the United States, and South Korea remain the top three sources of international tourists to Ho Chi Minh City.

Additional statistics from this department reveal that the revenue from the tourism industry in Ho Chi Minh City surged by 15.8% over the last year, reaching VND 90 trillion (approximately USD 3.85 billion). This includes VND 50 trillion from restaurants and accommodations, and about VND 20 trillion from travel services.
 
Ho Chi Minh City continues to be one of the most favored tourist destinations in Vietnam and across Indochina. The city's appeal lies in its blend of dynamic modern life and its rich, multicultural community, making it a must-visit for travelers.
