The second installment of the “Himalayan Arts and Culture Exhibition” is scheduled to take place at the Gallery Module 7, located at 83 Xuan Dieu Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi, from December 1st to December 4th, 2025. This exhibition aims to bring the unique and exotic art, traditions, and culture of this sacred region closer to art enthusiasts in Vietnam.
The event is co-organized by Nha Nam Culture and Media Company along with Drukpa Vietnam. This year’s exhibition coincides with the visit of Khamtrul Rinpoche, the esteemed head of the Drukpa Lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism, to Vietnam.
Over 100 items will be displayed, including exquisite gold and gem-inlaid bronze statues of Buddha, Thangka (traditional Tibetan silk paintings featuring intricate embroidery), Mandalas (bronze or gold-inlaid mosaics), and various traditional musical instruments. All of these authentic artworks are crafted by the finest artisans in Nepal, embodying the rich tapestry of Himalayan culture.

An authentic Thangka
Himalayan art, which has its roots in the Himalayas, can also be found across regions such as China, Mongolia, Southern Siberia, and the surrounding areas of the Tibetan Plateau. It primarily explores Buddhist themes and is characterized by unique compositions, symbols, and motifs that reflect its rich cultural heritage.
