Hanoi to further develop green tourism

Hanoi tourism administration is putting more effort on developing green tourism with the main purpose to protect the local environment and to attain sustainable development of the city.

Hanoi tourism administration is focusing on developing green tourism initiatives with the primary goal of protecting the local environment and achieving sustainable growth for the city.

The project, which has been running for three years now, has shown surprisingly positive outcomes that are encouraging local authorities to invest further and expand these efforts.

Some popular green tourism offerings currently available in Hanoi include bicycle tours to suburban areas, Red River tours, and electric car tours exploring the Old Quarter. These tours are well-received by numerous visitors, especially international tourists.

The Hanoi tourism administration plans to broaden this initiative to include other well-known attractions around the city, such as Soc Mountain, Dong Quan Lake, Day River, Ba Vi National Park, and Huong Son Relics.

Despite being promoted in recent years, green tourism has now become a priority in the tourist development strategy of Hanoi and many other popular destinations across Vietnam.
