Hanoi – Chengdu weekly flights by Vietnam Airlines

The national flag Vietnam Airline has officially announced its new direct fights connecting Hanoi (Vietnam) and Chengdu (China).

 

The national flag Vietnam Airline has officially announced its new direct fights connecting Hanoi (Vietnam) and Chengdu (China). As planned, first flight of this route is projected to take off on Tuesday, June 26 2012.

On initial testing time of this new route, Vietnam Airline operates 3 flights per week in both directions, with detail schedule to be provided later. The aviation corporation also offers promotion fare to passenger, with only VND 5,220,000 (around USD 250) per person for round-trip, applying from now until December 31 2012.

Representative from Vietnam Airlines reveals that the opening of Hanoi – Chengdu is a section in progress of expanding global airway of the corporation. In addition, this can help strengthen commercial relationship between Hanoi and Chengdu, which is considered one of the largest and most crucial economic centers in Southwest China.

Chengdu is one of the most fundamental cities in Southwest area of China, in term of agricultural, economy, cultural and society during 4000 years of Chinese history. This is also the fifth largest cities in China in term of population with more than 10million residents. In history, Chengdu is most well-known for being capital of Shu Han Regime (221-263) of Liu Bei in Three Kingdom period (220 – 280).
