On January 27, 2025, the world's largest travel platform, TripAdvisor, announced the results of the TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice Awards for 2025. These awards are based on millions of reviews and opinions from travelers across the globe. With numerous categories such as Top 25 Experiences, Top 25 Beaches, and Top 25 Trending Destinations, two remarkable Vietnamese destinations, Hanoi and Hoi An, achieved acclaim, ranking 6th and 11th respectively in the Top 25 Popular Destinations in the world.
Hanoi Old Quarter
Hanoi, Vietnam's vibrant capital, secured the 6th position, celebrated for the ancient charm of its Old Quarter, colonial-era monuments, and a unique blend of historical depth with the dynamism of a modern metropolis.
