French guitarist talent to perform in Vietnam
Thibault Cauvin, dubbed as “The Ambassador of the new classical guitar” by critics and music lovers, will give two solo performances at 8:00 pm at IDECAF, No. 31 Thai Van Lung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on June 5 and L’Espace, No. 24 Trang Tien street, Hanoi on June 7.
Thibault Cauvin, hailed as "The Ambassador of the new classical guitar" by critics and music enthusiasts, will be performing two solo concerts at 8:00 PM at IDECAF, located at 31 Thai Van Lung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on June 5, 2025, and at L’Espace, located at 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi on June 7, 2025.
Now 35 years old, the Parisian artist continues to be regarded as one of the most talented, charismatic, and sought-after guitarists in the classical music scene. At just 20, he became the only artist to have won 13 international first prizes. His creative interpretations of classical works and ability to infuse them with new energy have solidified his reputation. Cauvin showcases a diverse, captivating, and contemporary repertoire.
IDECAF and L’Espace are distinguished institutions in Vietnam dedicated to promoting French language and culture worldwide. They have hosted an extensive range of cultural programs, encompassing performance art, cinema, and artistic seminars.
