First Pilot International Flight To Vietnam Landed Da Nang

At 15:55 on November 17, 2025, Vietnam Airlines successfully welcomed its first pilot international tourist groups from Seoul (Republic of Korea) to Da Nang Airport, marking a significant milestone in the tourism sector following a lengthy hiatus.

The arriving passengers represent a diverse mix of nationalities, including travelers from South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Australia. Their intentions for visiting Vietnam range from leisure tourism to reconnecting with family members. Following immigration procedures and a health check, the group proceeded to Hoi An (Quang Nam) as per their itinerary.

For all travelers, a vaccine passport, a negative COVID-19 PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to departure, and a return ticket are mandatory requirements for boarding the flight.

During their seven-day stay in Hoi An, tourists will be accommodated at the Hoiana Complex Resort in Duy Xuyen District (Quang Nam) and will have the opportunity to explore attractions such as Vinpearl Land, Hoi An Ancient Town, and My Son Sanctuary. It is important to note that all visitors must undergo a COVID-19 test upon their arrival at the Hoiana Complex Resort before participating in any travel programs.

Vietnam remains committed to resuming international tourism from key markets, continuing to welcome visitors to destinations including Phu Quoc (Kien Giang), Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Quang Ninh.
