Finland-flagged airline Finnair is planning to open new representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as a part of its expanding project to Vietnam’s market.
Finland-flagged airline Finnair is set to open new representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as part of its growing strategy in Vietnam's aviation market.
Currently, Finnair is represented in Vietnam by East Sea Travel and Air Service Company, a general sales agent headquartered in the Czech Republic. The airline has plans to collaborate with several Vietnamese carriers, including the national airline Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways, and Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong, to operate additional routes from Vietnam to Finland and other destinations in Europe.
This expansion initiative is Finnair’s response to the rising demand for air travel between Europe and Vietnam, as well as a reflection of the rapid development of aviation services in Southeast Asia.
Finnair is recognized as the largest airline in Finland, with its headquarters situated in Vantaa, primarily operating from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. It has also been acknowledged as one of the safest airlines in global aviation history, with an impressive safety record and no major accidents since 1963.
