The choir, known for its diverse repertoire that ranges from traditional to ultramodern choral music, as well as musicals and orchestral works, is expected to deliver a remarkable musical experience for the Hanoi audience.
Founded in 1975 as a student choir at Aalto University, Dominante today includes members from Aalto University, the University of Helsinki, and the Sibelius Academy, showcasing the talents of Finland's best musical minds.
The Finnish Choir has performed and recorded extensively for over 30 years, not only in Finland but across the globe. They have notably performed at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra and conductor Osmo Vänskä during the BBC Proms festival in 2007. Additionally, they have collaborated with esteemed orchestras like the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonia, and the Finnish National Opera.

Under the direction of artistic director Seppo Murto — a highly regarded organist and choir leader in Finland since 1981 — the choir has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Record of the Year award from the Finnish Choral Director's Association in 2009.
Free tickets are now available at the Vietnam Performing Arts Center, located on the 6th floor, 32 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
