Exhibition in Hanoi featuring Bahnar Minority

From September 5 to 19, a photography exhibition about the Bahnar will be held at L'Espace, Hanoi.

L'Espace has continued to be a renowned venue for arts enthusiasts and cultural displays. This time, L'Espace will host an exhibition titled "The Bahnar Minorities in Kontum" from September 5 to September 15, 2025.

The Bahnar are one of the 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam, with a population exceeding 25,000, primarily located in the central highlands, particularly in provinces like Gia Lai, Kon Tum, and Phu Yen. Due to their relatively small population and unique cultural characteristics, the Bahnar people remain lesser-known among Vietnam's diverse ethnicities.

This exhibition aims to provide greater insight into Bahnar culture and its people. The photographs on display are the artistic creations of local folk culturalists Nguyen Dong Chi and Nguyen Kinh Thi, both of whom have dedicated considerable time to exploring the lives of the Bahnar community.

The event is free of charge and will take place at L'Espace, located at 24 Trang Tien, Hanoi.
