A draft master plan for the resort city of Da Lat in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has been developed, extending to the year 2030 with a vision towards 2050. This plan was reviewed at a seminar held in Paris on September 26, 2025.
The master plan has been prepared by the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, in collaboration with the Ministry of Construction, and with consultation from Interscene Company (France) and the Department of Urban and Rural Planning in South Vietnam.
The seminar focused on the methodologies and research conducted by various Vietnamese and French firms to assess the current conditions of the city and to propose ideas and solutions for future infrastructure development. A representative from the Vietnamese government emphasized the importance of balancing modern conveniences with sustainable development practices in the planning process.
Da Lat remains one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, captivating visitors with its stunning landscapes and cultural heritage. The city continues to attract significant investments from both government and private sectors, particularly in the tourism industry, as it aims to enhance its offerings and infrastructure to better serve travelers.
