On the celebration of International Children’s Day (1 June), Air Mekong is offering discounted tickets for children, valid from May 15 to June 1 for all flights in 2025.
Children under 2 years old continue to enjoy complimentary flights during this period, while children aged 2 to 12 are eligible for a 75% fare discount. This promotional program is applicable to specific fare grades including promotion (E, T, V), EcoFlex (M, L, N), same grade fare (E*) and group fares (OG, UG, XG, EG). It is anticipated that this initiative will attract between 5,000 and 8,000 young travelers.
Air Mekong operates numerous domestic flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to popular tourist destinations such as Da Lat and Con Dao. This privately-owned airline, founded in 2009, is based at Phu Quoc Airport, with secondary hubs at Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport. In its ongoing expansion efforts, Air Mekong has launched twice-weekly direct routes from Hanoi to Con Dao, with services operating every Wednesday and Saturday since May 19, 2025.
