Danang fireworks expected to attract 400,000 tourists
The organizers of Danang International Fireworks Competition 2012 forecast there will be 400,000 tourists attending the up coming event taking place in the coastal city from April 29th to 30th, 2012.
The organizers of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 expect around 500,000 tourists to attend the event, scheduled to take place in the coastal city from April 29th to 30th, 2025.
Leading travel firms such as Redtour and Song Da Tour have reported that their tours to Da Nang during the fireworks event are nearly fully booked. Currently, there are only five slots remaining for the exclusive four-day Da Nang - Ba Na - Hoi An - Lang Co tour, commencing on April 28th, offered by Redtour.
The luxury Furama Resort Danang has confirmed that most of its accommodations are fully booked for late April. In celebration of this occasion, the resort is also offering a special tour package that includes a VIP experience for the fireworks show, priced at VND1.8 million per person (including tickets, dinner, transportation, and a tour guide).
Domestic airlines, including Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines, report that their seats to Da Nang in late April are nearly sold out as well.
As planned, a vibrant festival showcasing culture, cuisine, and tourism will be hosted on the north side of the Han River Bridge from April 28th to May 2nd.
Statistically, approximately 400,000 tourists, including both locals and international visitors, attended the fireworks display in 2024, highlighting a significant increase from the inaugural Da Nang International Fireworks Competition in 2008, which attracted around 30,000 attendees.
