Da Nang to implement tourism promotion plan for 2012

 

The main objectives for Da Nang tourism in the coming year include continuing to showcase the city’s unique features to vital domestic markets in places such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as expanding outreach to international markets including Thailand, Russia, Singapore, and the United States. 

 

To meet these goals, local tourism agencies plan to organize an array of events such as roadshows, fairs, and festivals. Additionally, they will enhance tourist information accessibility by installing more information kiosks around the city and publishing tourism guides in multiple languages. 

 

 

In 2023, Da Nang welcomed approximately 3 million international tourists.

 

Furthermore, the city aims to facilitate tourism research from international scholars and experts, while also establishing additional direct flights from Da Nang to various key destinations around the globe.

 

Da Nang is renowned as one of the most appealing tourist destinations in central Vietnam, attracting over 2.5 million visitors annually, including a significant number of international travelers. Despite the challenges posed by global economic fluctuations, the tourism sector in this city has continued to thrive sustainably, making a substantial contribution to the improvement of the national economy.
