Da Nang to host international paramotor competition

 

Anticipated to participate are between 50 and 70 athletes representing 10 different paramotor teams from countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Argentina, and the United States.

 

The competition will feature a diverse range of events, including point-counting flying, speed flying, formation flying, and rescue flying. The budget for this privately funded event is estimated to exceed VND 20 billion, reflecting its growing significance in the region.

 

Da Nang is actively seeking paramotor athletes with international certification to establish a national team that will represent Vietnam in future competitions. In addition to the main event, attendees can look forward to a variety of cultural and tourism attractions, such as local markets, traditional embroidery art, and the enchanting lanterns of Hoi An.

 

This marks the first time that Da Nang has hosted an international paramotor event.
