The number of travelers visiting Da Nang by sea has seen a notable increase in recent years, leading to a growing demand for shopping, particularly for souvenirs. To cater to these travelers, the Da Nang People's Committee has approved a plan to establish souvenir kiosks around the docking area.
Initially, 10 kiosks have been installed in front of Trung Vuong Theater, offering a variety of handicrafts and local specialties. These kiosks operate exclusively during docking hours for cruise ships, featuring a temporary design that enhances visitor experience.
The Da Nang authorities are also in the process of developing a large plaza dedicated to handicrafts and local specialties, ensuring a more convenient and secure purchasing process for shoppers.
Da Nang remains one of the most popular destinations in central Vietnam in 2025, particularly for tourists arriving by sea. The city captivates visitors with its stunning landscapes, rich historical sites, and the vibrant daily lives of its residents.
